Before doing any changes you should get several tools: Get the Nirsoft Product Key Tool and find the Windows Product Key save the information & write it down. Next get the MGA Diagnostic Tool from Microsoft Genuine Support run the tool see if the Windows is Activated and matches the Product Key from a legal / activated Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3 will be required to install the missing components.
