Dell Command Update is an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) and command line Interface (CLI) application that allows you to update the Dell client systems with the latest applications, drivers, BIOS, and firmware. Used various command line operations like: ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release,renew, etc. I've already tried changing the DNS address to the Open DNS address (which I've been using already) but with no positive result.
You must apply the compressor delay function (3SEC) to only one of two units. Maintain the room temperature at the set temperature. • If the infrared signal receiver on the unit is exposed to direct sunlight, the air conditioner may not work properly. For Two Unit: Install one air conditioner 1/3 and the other air conditioner 2/3’s from front of RV and centered from side to side with referring to compressor delay function. • CAUTION • The air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or other materials block the signals from the remote control to the unit. I also downloaded the file twice more in case the file itself was corrupt. I then booted from a Windows PE based CD (BartPE) & received a similar error when running the executable from Windows XP, so I don't think the error has anything to do with it being run from a Windows 7 environment. ~Dave [RESOLVED] -- It looks like when I ran the BIOS update the first time without elevating to administrator, it created a Registry key that causes the problem. Click the Start button, and then click Run. The Run window appears.
In the text box type regedit, then press the key. The Registry Editor window appears. NOTE: The User Account Control window may appear.
If so, click Continue. Double-click the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE to expand its contents. Double-click the folder SYSTEM to expand its contents. Double-click the folder ControlSet001 to expand its contents. Double-click the folder Services to expand its contents. Right-click the DELLBIOS folder and select Delete. Close all windows and restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
Run the BIOS installer to flash the BIOS. I deleted the key as described & the BIOS update worked perfectly.
